I went to KDN  Anak Bukit to get my vaccination, on 27 September 😷💉

Who did I go with and how? 💁🏻

With my younger sister and our father, and he drove us there 🦋💗

What did I see, do and feel about that? 💁🏻

The place was crowded by a lot of people and I saw a lot of students from my school 🚸 While waiting for my turn, I read some of webtoon series 📱💗 How do I feel? I feel My blood ran cold when my turn came 💀😩 Imagine how sharp and long the needle is, how much will it hurt, just make me feel terrified 😞🤣 But it's not as hurt as I thought hahahaha. So make sure to get your vaccination 😂💉

Closer to Nature - Langkawi Island

Hi guys. Assalamualaikum and thank you for visiting my blog. I'm Yassmine.

Langkawi Wildlife Park

Closer to Nature - Langkawi Island

Have you ever felt amazed when you get closer to animals? I have. Well, a long time ago when I lived in Langkawi Island, I visited Langkawi Wildlife Park with my family a lot . Langkawi Wildlife Park is a park that emphasises on close interaction with the animals. It was such a wonderful experience for a small child like me.

Langkawi Wildlife Park is a sanctuary for 150 species of animals with a total of 1200 different animals. Out of 150 species of animals in Langkawi Wildlife Park there are avian, reptiles, mammals and fish.  There, you can either feed or touch all of the animals to have close interaction with them. Even crocodiles can be fed, if you have a string heart.

The park consists 4 sections, each with its own theme and unique animals, which also includes a humongous walk in aviary with over 20 species of birds from Malaysia and other part of the worlds roaming freely in it. Some of the animals you can see in the park are Blue and Gold Macaw, Flamingo, Budgerigars, Raccoons, Grey Crowned Crane, Peafowls, Crocodiles, Arapaima, rabbits and the list goes on and on as there are about 150 species of animals inhabited in the park. I find it very fascinating every time I visit this wildlife park.

If you're a animal lover, Langkawi Wildlife Park is a place you must visit when you're in Langkawi Island. Feeding and interacting with 150 different species of animals is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Why not plan a trip there and see for yourself?

Film Reviews - Midnight Runners

Hi guys. So welcome back to my blog. I'm Yass and thank you for coming.

So today I would like to review a film called Midnight Runners, a Korean action-comedy film. Enjoy!!

Midnight Runners Poster

Midnight Runners
Action-comedy film, 2017

This film is about two friends who are students at Korean National Police University, witness a kidnapping on their way back from the club. However the local police station's is busy with the case of the kidnapping of a businessman’s son and unable to investigate the case. They realise that they are running out of time, so they decide to start their own investigation without the university's management knowledge. The most outstanding feature of the film is when these two friends catch up the kidnappers and try to save the girl but end up get beaten and locked up.

I really enjoy watching the film. The stars of the film are Park Seo Joon (박서준) as Ki Joon, a risk-taker who acts first and thinks later and Kang Ha Neul (강하늘) as Hee Yeol, a bookworm who thinks more than acts. Also, I think this film is good because of the great acting of the actors.

I found this film is entertaining, so I would give ☆☆☆☆☆ and highly recommend it to film-goers. I think it should be seen not only by all action lovers but also by anyone looking for an inspirational story. Go and watch it soon!!

My Favourite Games

Hi guys. Welcome back to my blog...I'm Yass  👋🏻💖

What are my favourite games?

I was supposed to talk about my favourite mobile games but since I have none... I will talk about my favourite traditional games called Congkak and Batu Seremban 😉

Congkak is a traditional Malay game often played as an indoor activity or as a competition.  Mostfully, it uses hollow perforated wooden planks or holes 🕳 on the ground and usually a ‘buah’ (game piece) using rubber seeds or marbles.

Congkak

In Southeast Asia, Congkak may develop from Melaka as the state is a trading center in the past.  The name "congkak" is believed to be derived from the Malay word "congak" which means mental calculation.  Besides the Malays, the Congkak game is also famous among the descendants of Indian and Baba Malacca.  In the Caribbean, Congkak is known as Warri or Awari.  In Indonesia, Congkak is known by the name Congklak, while in the Philippines, Sungka.

Meanwhile for Batu Seremban....

Batu Seremban is also known as Batu Selambut or Serembat. This game is fondly played by girls. It is usually played in groups - two or more people. Objects such as glass marbles, rubber seeds, medium-large pebble chunks or other round shaped object chunks are used in this game. These objects are known as 'buah'. In the Batu Seremban game, there are several levels or different ways of celebrating 'buah'. The game will start with an easy first level, where a piece called 'buah' one is used, up to a more difficult level or the top level called fruit seven. The minimum amount of the 'buah' is 5 pieces meanwhile the maximum amount is 7 pieces.

Batu Seremban

There is also a similar game in Korea called Gong-gi (공기). It’s a traditional Korean game played with 5 pieces. Meanwhile in Indonesia known as Bola Bekel. In Thailand is Ei-Keb, in Philippines is Jackstone, while in the Singapore called Five Stones.

Both of these games require counting skills and strategizing. I really love math and strategizing. I guess that's why I love these games a lot. I believe that people who love mathematics and strategizing will love this game a lot. Also the cost is not that expensive. It only costs 7 $ and below. Just give it a try and you will fall in love in just a second.

The games which I can't stand at all.

I can't stand battle games at all ⚔ I mean there's a lot of battle in my real life 🏳  Why should I stress out my mind with playing that kind of games?! 🤷🏻‍♀️ Nowadays, teen in my ages neither boys nor girls play Mobile Legends, PUBG Mobile, Free Fire and more. I'm really not into this kind of games 🙃 Well if these kind of games can blew away your stress then don't mind my opinion 😃🤣

And a new game I would like to try....

I would like to try Check Mate as I love to strategizing also Chess has been proven to improve problem solving skills and test all parts of the brain. So shouldn't I give it a try first? I think this game would be exiting 😆💗

Thank you so much for spending your time reading my blog ☺️❤️

ᴛɪᴍᴇ ᴏᴜᴛ !!!

Hi guys. Welcome to my blog... I'm Yass 👋🏻❤️

So...What do I do to unwind myself?

Guess what...drama. Yes! ☑

I really enjoy watching dramas 🎬 For your information, I'm really into k-drama 😍 When I watch dramas I'm not only relieve stress but I can also improve my language skills. I can learn Korean language and improve my English skills at the same time cause I used to watch with English subtitle. We call that kill two birds with one stone yeah. Lately, I've been watching some fantasy genre dramas called Tail of The Nine Tailed 🦊, Extra-ordinary You 🌺 and also My Roommate Is A Gumiho 🦊 I do really love this kind of drama. The storyline was so great 👍🏻❤️ I have so much fun doing this activity. I feel like I can spend my whole day writing about this ♡♡♡

What interesting places I have visited?

Emm let me think 🤔 Every place I have ever visited has its own specialties but this place is the best since I went there with my family, grandma and my late uncle ♡

Cameron Highlands!! 😁😆

Yess!! Cameron Highlands is a district in Pahang, Malaysia. Generally, the weather in Cameron Highlands is cool throughout the year. In fact, this is the place that holds the record of the lowest temperature in Malaysia. It occurred in 1978 when the temperature fell to 7.8 degrees Celsius. Isn't that interesting? 🤓

We went there when I was around 9 years old... Time flies faster than I think 😩 We have so much fun there... Eat all kinds of foods made from strawberries 😋🍓

also the hotel we stayed in provided a great dinner. STEAMBOAT!! We can choose any kind of vegetables and seafood. And the coolest thing is that the vegetables are so fresh and sweet.

But sadly I can't find a photo of the vacation 😭

What is the fondest memory I have created with my family?

Of course the vacation!! Since now is pandemic so I can't travel with my family as before. Lets pray the best for our world. I hope we can travel, going out freely with SOP and wearing a face mask.
I miss these moments-

A million thanks to you for spending your precious time reading my blog. I'm truly appreciate it 👋💖

[Appreciate your family while they're still there with you. You have no idea how much you will spend your time regretting your actions]
